Make the Game You've Always Dreamed Of, No Code Required

That game you've had in your head since you were a kid never got made, because making games meant learning to code. Not anymore. My drop-in systems do the hard parts. You build your game by setting things up and clicking, never by writing scripts. These systems came out of From Embers, my game on Steam, and twelve of them run Outfitter, which you can play free in your browser. Start today with the free starter game.

You don't have to become a developer

Here's the whole process, no coding at any point:

  1. Pick a system. Start with the free starter, a whole playable game, or grab a system or bundle.
  2. Drop it into your project. Copy the folder in. Nothing to install and nothing to configure.
  3. Set it up by clicking. Configure everything by clicking, never any code, and your game just works.

Drop-in, no-code systems for inventory, saving, quests, dialogue, combat, loot, crafting, and more, most with a free version to try first. Built for Godot, the free and open game engine. Browse all the systems.

Rather watch it first? Godot for complete beginners shows every click in two and a half minutes, Build Your Game makes a whole game in eight short episodes, and each system gets its own short video on the SELOdev YouTube channel.

Games

Solo-developed indie games shipped end-to-end under CindieForge, built with the very same systems.

The engineer behind it

The systems and games are built and maintained by a working software engineer, so they're clean, documented, and yours to extend. Also behind a few open-source projects:
